Dear HP,

I am almost 3 weeks post op now and feeling so much stronger. I owe it all to you. Thank you so much for all of the little and large things you have done for me each day: those scrambled eggs and toast, making the bed, getting the kids off to school, telling me to take it easy when I worry that I'm not doing enough for you and the kids, laundry (!), cleaning up and cooking too.

But most of all, you have managed to make me feel needed, cherished and beautiful at this most vulnerable time in my life. I love you dearly and will always be
