Jack, my soulmate

Jack,
I wish I could roll back time to when we were first married 14 years ago. Instead of waiting for kids, I'd say let's get to it. No worrying about we should wait for this or wait for that. Maybe things would have gone so much smoother for us. Why must everything be a struggle?
No matter the outcome of this surgery, please know how much I love you. It pains me to know how much my diagnosis scares and hurts you. We're suppose to grow VERY old together so we can sit in our side-by-side rocking chairs and hold hands. I hope that is still the case!
