Feeling more like a woman at my age (54)

Just wanted to let you know honey, that understanding what I am going through is hard for you to understand because it is just as hard for me. I love you dearly, but you do need to let me be myself, not be us. I keep thinking I can repair all that needs repairing and I can not. It is going to take the two of us.

We can be enjoying the best years of our lives right now. We have no one to answer to but each other. I will share all my answers that I can with you.
