To my first and last love..

When we met 30 years ago my life finally began. You made me feel loved and confident. I gave you every part of myself. I know we were so young and didn't know what we were doing, but it was true love. It wasn't the time for us then, but meeting you so early was like a promise from God that we'd be together again someday. Thirty years later, it's our time. Over the past year I've experienced more life changing events than humanly possible and you have been there for me through it all. I'm so thankful and happy that I've been able to share them with you. Now in sickness you are still here, supporting me, helping me and loving me. Thank you! I've always hoped you would be the one I'd grow old with. We have a lot of living to do between now and then and I'm ready for every second we have left together. I love you! You are my everything!
