How Nice for Me?

It's less than one week since my surgery. You were gone all day, came home and asked what I did. And, when I said, "I took a nap in the afternoon," you said, "How nice for you."

Really? How nice for me to have a total hysterectomy and be in the midst of a painful and tiring recovery. I would rather be doing a million other things than taking a nap because I don't feel good. I did not choose this surgery. It chose me when my body betrayed me.
